Our Communities , Mission & Vision.
The communities we serve face the dual challenges of poverty and climate change, with the most vulnerable—elderly individuals, single parents, people with disabilities, and youth—shouldering the greatest burden. For these resilient individuals, relocating from their villages or informal settlements when droughts or floods occur is simply not an option. Migration is not the answer for them. Many rely on subsistence farming and irregular casual work to support their families, but shifting climate patterns threaten their livelihoods and way of life. We step in as partners, standing alongside them to create empowering solutions that offer stability and hope for a sustainable future.
G.A.P.'s mission is to bring hope and restore dignity to vulnerable members of society living in extreme poverty in rural villages and informal settlements that are further marginalized by climate Change.
We dream of a future where all people can meet their basic needs—a future of resilience and sustainability for communities hardest hit by food scarcity and diseases caused by Climate Change.

Kambiti Village, Wamunyu, Machakos, Kenya.
We support the elderly by providing food, access to healthcare, strengthening their homes, constructing water storage tanks, and implementing essential development initiatives.

Following the devastating floods that displaced countless families and deepened marginalization in the informal settlements of City Carton and Jam City, we stood in solidarity with these communities. Through strong partnerships and collaborative efforts, we have since established impactful youth and empowerment programs aimed at mentoring and uplifting young people and their families, fostering resilience and hope in these areas.
